Car painting in Brooklyn
a finish that lasts.
Faded, scratched, or ready for a whole new color? Exclusive Collision & Repair does car painting and auto refinishing in Brooklyn, from a single blended panel to a full custom respray, with PPG paint and a heated downdraft booth so the finish actually holds.
Car painting, from one panel to a full custom finish
Some cars come in for a single blended panel after a scratch. Others come in for a color change, a custom finish, or a set of refreshed wheels. We do all of it in-house at our Brooklyn shop.
Panel Refinishing & Blends
A scratched, faded, or repaired panel resprayed and blended so there is no line where new meets old.
Full-Car Respray
The whole car brought back to a factory-grade finish, or changed to a new color start to finish.
Custom Candy & Pearl
Candy colors, pearls, and specialty finishes mixed in-house for a look that turns heads.
Rim Painting & Refurbishing
Curbed, peeling, or tired wheels stripped and refinished so they look sharp again.
Caliper Painting
Brake calipers painted for a clean pop of color through the wheels, done to last.
In-House Paint Blending
Color mixed to your car on our PPG system, so the match is right before anything hits the panel.
Anyone can spray paint on a panel.
The match and the finish are the whole job.
The color has to match, or the whole job shows
Here's the thing about auto paint. Your car's factory color isn't the same today as the day it rolled off the line. Sun and years shift it. So mixing straight from the factory code and hoping for the best is how you get a panel that's a shade off, and once you see it you can't unsee it.
We mix PPG paint to your car's actual color, then blend it into the panels around the repair so the new paint melts into the old with no hard edge. And if you want something the factory never made, candy, pearl, a full color change, that's where it gets fun. We'll talk through the look and show you what it takes before we start.
What sets the finish apart
- PPG paint mixed in-house to your car's real color
- Blended into surrounding panels, no hard paint line
- Custom candy, pearl, and specialty finishes
- Sprayed with a SATA gun in a heated downdraft booth
- Prep and sealing underneath, so it holds up
How a paint job actually comes together
Good paint is mostly what happens before the color goes on. Here's the order.
Prep and repair
Any dents or damage get straightened first, then the panel is stripped, sanded, and sealed. This is the step that decides whether paint lasts.
Color mixed to match
We mix PPG paint to your car's actual color, not just the factory code, so the match holds up next to the panels around it.
Sprayed in the booth
Color and clear go on with a SATA gun in a heated downdraft booth, dust out, each coat cured before the next.
Finished and checked
We inspect the finish, blend the edges, and hand you back a car where you can't find where we started.
From damaged to a finish you would never question
Drag the slider. Same BMW 740i, same rear quarter, before and after refinishing.

What actually drives the price of a paint job
Nobody can quote a paint job honestly without seeing the car. But these are the four things that move the number, so you know what you're paying for.
One blended panel is a small job. A full-car respray is a lot more surface, prep, and booth time, so it costs more.
A standard color is straightforward. Candy, pearl, and custom finishes take extra coats and extra care, which adds to the price.
Dents, rust, or old peeling paint have to be fixed before color goes on. More prep underneath means more work in the number.
If the paint is part of a collision repair, it usually goes on your insurance claim with the rest of the work instead of your pocket.
Want a real number? Bring the car by or send photos. We'll give you an honest quote up front, and the number we quote is the number you pay at pickup.
You pay for a paint job once when it's done right.
Twice when it isn't.
