You walked away from the accident. The car still drives, the panels look mostly straight, nobody called a tow truck. None of that proves the structure underneath is sound. Vehicles are built to crumple in specific places, and an impact that looks minor can push a frame rail a few millimeters out of position. That small shift is the whole problem.

Automotive frame repair is the process of restoring a bent or shifted structure back to the manufacturer’s original specifications. After a collision the frame or unibody can compress, twist, or fall out of alignment. We measure that damage against factory data and correct it until every structural point sits exactly where the manufacturer built it to sit. When the frame is off, nothing bolted to it lines up right, not the panels, not the suspension, not the safety systems. So we start there.

Rusted and severed frame sections

Not all frame damage comes from a single crash. Years of road salt and moisture eat through structural metal from the inside out, and a hard enough impact can tear a section apart completely. When straightening alone won’t do it, we cut out the compromised metal, weld in new structural sections, and seal everything with corrosion protection so the rust doesn’t come back.

This is real structural work, not a cosmetic patch. A frame that’s rusted through or been severed can’t be trusted to hold up in another collision. We rebuild the strength first, then refinish the area so the repair disappears.

How a car is built decides how it’s repaired. We measure and restore both on the same Car-O-Liner machine, to their own factory tolerances.

Unibody

Most cars on the road are unibody, the frame and body welded into one structure. Damage travels through the entire shell, so the repair has to follow how the force moved across it. A pull in one spot affects the whole car.

Body-on-Frame

Trucks and many older SUVs bolt the body onto a separate ladder frame. The damage is often more contained, but it demands the same precision to correct, and the same measurement against factory spec.
